Are folk getting full stated travel on Fox forks?
Just sold some F100's and the buyer has contacted me to say he's only getting 82mm.
This can't be normal is it?
I never measured travel when I had them.

I took all the air out of my 140mm talas and they only went to 130mm....just thought that would be normal

(I did not ride them like that that would have been just silly)

I found that my Float R 130s ramped up a lot. if I set the right sag, I never got full travel and if I reduced the pressure the get full travel, they felt too soggy. So, I cut 10 mm off the air piston rod to increase the size of the air chamber. I can now use enough pressure to get the sag right without them ramping up too much at the end so i pretty much get full travel from them now.

I think it depends on the set up and condition of the fork. I used to get 100mm, then after they were serviced I only got around 90mm.... go figure.
