Any issue with this?
I asked this on mtbr when pondering touring off road with a BOB and my Flux. Dave Turner no less posted that it would be fine. Good enough for me.
going of road with a bob, mrs kicking you out 😉
jobs a good un!
I towed my youngster around Auckland in her trailer and my EBC trailer around the same and loads of tours over here on Sub 5 and then the newer 5. Absolutely no bother at all. A bit more air in the can was all that was needed.
More air in the can? Would have thought exactly the opposite, isn't the trailer basically trying to extend the suspension all the time?
not arsed as it will be locked out as on tow paths

Depends where the pivot is, and the arc of the wheel. I'd expect a single pivot bike would have the wheel sat just 'below' the horizontal of the pivot point, so 'under normal compression' the wheelbase lengthens before shortening.
If you've a trailer attached, it'll try to lengthen the wheelbase (pull the wheel backwards), therefore more air needed to combat this.
I agree, in a different sus set up it may be the opposite...
DrP
Ah... very well put, i was thinking suspended weight etc. etc.
Lots of fun either way, looking forward to getting a B.o.B/Extrawheel soon
