Mud hugger if proper wet or muddy. One of those little plastic flaps under the saddle for mild spray.

Mudhugger. Clean ass and rucksack after even the muddiest ride.

Just beware with the mudhugger if your seatstays/swingarm is flatter than it is steep. Even a 26" Titus El Gaupo which isn't particularly flat on the seatstays, it wants the 29"wheel version to give enough coverage
You'll want to check under bottom out that there is enough room for your big(gest) tyres plus mudhugger up against the seattube. I had to file a seattube shape indent into mine to make room.
Also that your saddle when down can't catch under bottom out

I got this to fir to my spectral

http://www.zefal.com/en/mudguards-mtb/73-deflector-rm60.html

Despite its extra adjustability over the standard version, it still hit the tyre on compression. Dropper post means you're limited on height position. I ended up flipping the clamp upside down, removing the extra bar, and then dremmeling a slot into the mudguard so I could refit the toothed washer and attach it to the upside down clamp. Works pretty well

That won't work with a dropper post and a mudguard that high always gets in the way of manoeuvres.

IME, yes it does and no it doesn't.
Depends where your dropper's collar is though. Mine's high enough that I can attach the guard clamp.
