Is the budget £1600 for each bike?
Our local bike shop 'bicycle smithy', Stockport. Are doing a good deal on Gary Fisher atm.

My g/f bought a Spesh Myka for £650 from Leisurelakes.

Nice bike,Tora coil forks, Stroker ride brakes etc.

an excellent bike for the money, down from £900 i believe.

Winstanleys did have some good deals on smaller Kikapu complete bikes a little while ago (£500 iirc) - may be worth a look. Pauls Cycles are pretty good for Kona too - bought my Coiler from them last year - quick delivery.

Why does it have to be full suspension? Do you not think a lightweight hardtail with good quality components would be better?
