[Closed] FSA Pro Carbon carbon wrap bars.

I received an FSA Pro Carbon riser bars with a Scandal rolling chassis package from On-One. The bars are carbon wrap over aluminium. Since the tissue thin carbon wrap seems to wear off just from adjusting shifters etc. whilst setting up, I assume that the wrap is simply aesthetic and not offering any structural integrity. Can I just treat them as aluminium bars is terms of tightening up the step faceplate, shifters etc. (no instructions giving torque for the faceplate and I can't find them on the FSA site)?
