had BB out of cross bike last night and when re-installing noted that the bearing loading requires 0.4-0.6Nm - that works out as the weight of an apple on a 1m sweep ! (I think !!) - barely finger tight. The shop must have had about a barrow of apples on there I guess.....

so I wonder why the bearings are starting to run a bit rough...-(
