Been looking at going to a 2x10 set up and came across this FSA double chainset in 27/39 guise, was going to order it and then read at the bottom of the description that it is only compatible with SRAM components, is this correct?
The rest of my drivetrain is Shimano.

It'll be fine. Although you don't have to use a dedicated crankset if you don't want to - you can convert what you have.
