[Closed] Front mech for On One 456 Evo

I've just built up an on one 456 evo frame with the drivetrain taken from another bike. All is a-ok except I can't seem to get the front derailleur set up properly. It is a Shimano XT M770 "Top swing" ( http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=20684) and the chainset is a Shimano Deore M590 triple ( http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=40496).

To complicate things slightly, I have changed the 32t ring for a 36t. However this was never a problem when this setup was on a previous frame. Is it possible that the 456 evo frame requires a "conventional" front mech? like this one: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=20685 ?
