Trying to adjust the front deraillieur after fitting a new cable and the H and L screws don't seem to be actually moving the derailleur that much. Any suggestions?

Undo the cable, set the high and low screws then reattach the cable.

Have you actually removed the mech or just the cable? You shouldn't need to to touch the H/L screws if the mech hasnt been meved on the frame or the cranks or BB.

Um, the H/L screws don't move the cage at all, they stop it from moving, no?
