Help! What the bloody ell does it mean? Which one should I chose?

Also known as 'conventional', they're basically all dual pull now, so that doesn't matter.

"Pull" refers to which direction the cable comes from. Bottom Pull or Down Pull means the cable comes from under the BB shell. Top Pull means the cable is usually run along the top tube and comes down the seat-tube.

"Swing" refers to the location of the pivot on the derailleur and is totally independent of the pull. IIRC Top Swing refers to a Low Clamp design (Only Shimano does this) and Down Swing refers to your typical high-clamp design.

Note: I copied that from the interweb but sounds correct to me.

You get dual pull which will do both

Top one is Conventional or Down Swing
Middle one is Top Swing
Bottom one is E-Type but is also Top Swing
