I have a 31.8 band LX M570 front derailleur and my new on-one inbread needs a 28.6 band.
Question is can i make it fit?
I see there are shims available to go from 34.9 to 31.8/28.6, but does anyone make a 31.8 to 28.6?

multi fit mechs are 34.9 thats why there are shims availible .
Make do and mend , im sure you can come up with something to make it fit 😉

I was just wondering if there was something off the shelf...would rarther not bodge if i dont have to.
the 34.9-31.8 one is bridging the same gap, just get one of those and squeeze it in a bit.
SJS are the purveyors of choice for obscure stuff
Current road mechs such as Tiagra come as 31.8 with a shim to 28.6mm so these parts do exist. A road dealer might even have some floating about if you ask nicely.
SJS are also the purveyors of highly expensive bits of obscure stuff - add postage on and you'd be looking at £7.50 for that!!!
