Does anyone have much experience of these? Meant to be similar to an Arch EX but with eyelets and offset spokes (looking at Moonglu builds) - just can't find much info at all on them

yoshimi - I have got a set on my Mojo HD. They are very light and due to the off-set eyelets, strong. They are a proper tubeless rims, and come with a specific valve kit and tape.

The logos are laser etched on them...

I run them with BOR hubs, and they have built up to be an extremely light wheelset. Had them for a few months now and haven’t had to true/ sort them in any way... Put it this way: the BOR/ FRM wheelset is lighter with tyres on then the previous hope/ mavic combo without tyres, and equally as strong, if not stronger.

Coped with rocky moors rides, a few uplifts at triscombe (dh runs) etc and some drops/ jumps up at my local, Haldon.

Nice rims. come in 650b and 29er sizes too.

Can post some pic' s later on if you want.

Velobrands bring in BOR stuff, worth giving them a call.

Ah, that's reassuring, been looking at the moonglu build with pro 2 evos at £340, going on a 5, I've not seen the full builds but looking at evos as I need a 135 maxle rear - only slightly concerned about the 100kg limit, I'm 86kg but god knows how much with a full camelbak - ill check out velobrands now - any thoughts on the weight limits?

I am 13stn on a good day... more like 13.5 without kit... so not a feather weight and havent had any problems...

In recent years I have folded a stans flow and ripped a 4" hole out of the lip of an en321. Thing about these is they are as light as an arch (if not a little lighter) but have eyelets, and feel like they have built up into a strong set of wheels. If you speak to any decent wheel builder they will tell you the difference between with and without eyelets.

So-far-so-good as they say. The evo's are great hubs, but check out the BOR hubs too.

To summarise, they seem to be plenty strong enough and 100kg is a lot in reality - i.e 15.7 stn.!.

Interesting - I've seen offset spoke holes on rear road rims before (to even out the dish a little), but not on a front - which way round would you have it on a front wheel?

MrBlond - my understanding is opposite to the disk. - but I could be wrong!

Ta, that makes sense as disc side is usually larger flange I guess, although would be the opposite to what you'd normally do on the rear..

Hmmm <scratches head>
