Just come back from a couple of pints of Fullers Bengal Lancer IPA over the road. Rather good.

Bottle of bubbly at home this evening cos the missus has just passed her 3 month probation in her new job. (flying colours! ๐Ÿ˜€ )

Started with a London Sour Pineapple by Brodie's Beer, then a delicious Brouwerij De Molen Amarillo, and a wee Tokyo* for pudding.

The growler is primed with two pints of the most lovely Brouwerij De Molen Amarillo. An American style Double Imperial IPA at an impressive 9.20% ABV

Brodie's London Sour Pineapple is worth trying and is what it says on the tin. Apparently Brodie's had to invent a new brewing technique to make it work; I like Belgian sour beers but this is something different and I enjoyed the experience (but not enough to fill the growler).

- At the dining table (to accompany the haggis, neeps and tatties) then on the sofa (to accompany the Mad Men, QI and/or HIGNFY)

- Wine (possibly a cheeky number brought back from France last week) and/or Newcie B (cos I fancied it having not had one for ages) and/or a beer that I can't remember the name of. And Auchentoshan and Highland Park.

Tea by the mug, at home, next to a log fire - it's already freezing here.
Should make a dawn patrol a giggle.

CF - really?
I struggle to believe that anything from John Willie Lee's is potable.
Them and OB (Oldham Bitter) ruined many a night in my teenage years, not from getting drunk but more due to having to drink that crap.
Where's it brewed nowadays?

right, i'm off down the offy, these pictures of fine ales are too much, a protein shake has nothing on a nice wainwright.
