See, now, it's this kind of thing that causes severe warming of my bladder when it comes to the STW editorial stance:

It seems like every one and their dog is coming out with an electric pump these days. Which is no bad thing; I think they’re one of the best things to happen in cycling er, kind of ever really. So simple and quick to keep your tyres how they need to be week in week out.

Yeah, because the track pump I've been using all this time is such an inordinate faff. Except, hang on, it isn't, it's simple and quick. Never mind that I've been using the same one for 20+ years, and there's no chance the leccy pumps will last that long. And the power source it needs is, well, me. And there's none of the issues around the sourcing, production and eventual disposal of the horrible chemicals and heavy metals that go into batteries.

But nope, my bad, new = unquestioningly good. {insert eyeroll emoji}

Just don't buy one then, not worth getting high blood pressure over

My track pump won't fit in my hip pack...

Well, okay, the 'keeping them as they need to be week in week out' thing made me think of 'home' usage. However, pack-size pumps are hardly rare (never mind that in the days of tubeless, I can't remember the last time I used one on a ride...)

Schwalbe Shredda Radial Front & Rear £83.99

I thought that price was for the front and rear, not each!

The front and rear triangles on that Foes are basically the same size.

See also, everything in the world.

We're trying to remortgage the house and that's bloody depressing.

At least the tyres will be 30% off in a few months.

Ooh, I like a good smock, too. Any idea what that Altura one would be like for running in, off-road?
I tend to use a lot of my MTB gear for running too as it seems to work for both really well, and that smock looks like it'd be great for really crappy weather trots.

Like the look of the trous, too, but definitely not for running in.

As a big fan of smocks (less zip = more betterer)

No, much less betterer, anything you have to pull over your head that's got mud on it - fail.

At the risk of adding to the broken record style postings I see tubeless sealant continues to try and claim the prize of world's most valuable liquid from unicorn's piss.......Schwalbe blue doc equating to £59 per litre up there..........
