I have a set of hope hoops with an xc-sp3 3 bolt hub.
My gears keep slipping but i think it is my freehub!
How do i know for sure?
ps my chain never comes off!

I'd start by taking off the cassette, pulling off the freehub body, and checking how many of the pawl springs are still intact/working, they have a finite lifespan, usually far shorter than the coil springs of previous hubs.
