[Closed] Freehub pickup speeds? new/old XT interchangability?

Apologies for (perhaps) a dull question

I've an '04(-07) XT 6-bolt rear hub, which freehub has I think 15 pick up points per rotation.
My Hope XC has 21 and I know a pro II has 24

Anyhow, my freebub (on the XT) has gone free so I need a new one, so I was having a look round shimanos website to work out what freehub is supposed to be the replacement

I notices on '08(onward) rear hubs they are described as having:
"Quicker engagement freehub body (10 degrees) "
which I'm guessing means 36 pickup points per rotation, can anyone verify this?

Does anyone know if I can fit a '08(onward) XT freehub to an '04(-'07) XT rear hub?
