I believe that the freehub on my Sunringle Pro SL wheelset may be getting gradually quieter. Is this a sign of a service being needed or is it nothing to worry about?

Service it asap, the pawls will be gunged up. Ignoring it may end in slipping, and possible damage.

Make the most of it. Service it and it will go back to the bloody awful racket that any modern hubs have.

Thanks for the advice, I stripped it down to find it looking muddy, disgusting and understandable why it wasn't as loud. Now it has been repaired she is back to her usual awesome character of super loud clicks!
