Fine for me too.

The replays usually don't work until the day after they put them up, dunno why?

I bet those 2 thirty something guys at the finish area are going to regret all their gesticulating to the camera when they see the replays...

the 'commentator' on eurosport annoys me so much. he's from road cycling and knows nowt
"Aaah Iron horse, a famous brand in downhill, like Yeti and, err others"

god damn flash player. Full screen = 5 fps on a 2.2ghz Core2Duo.
Exactly what CPU do you need to get smooth playback?!

Wish they'd offer a QuickTime stream or something as well

Reckon it's more likely bandwith than CPU that's the issue - I'm on a similar processor and full screen is perfectly smooth.

Advert destroys my stream on the finishing straight of Hill's run. Won't reconnect. BUGGER!

Advert destroyed my stream earlier. Weirdly switching from Firefox to Safari allowed me to reconnect.

nah, it's smooth when in a tiny window, when you make it fullscreen you can see both cores pegged, the fans are all running full blast too.

It's the flash plugin doing scaling in software I assume (resolution = 1366x768)

Race is good tho ๐Ÿ™‚

What version of Flash (Help>Installed Plugins on Safari) ?

Hmmm, something else going on then...

It's even crap at full screen on pootube. I'd say 50% fps drop

same vers here.

just tried watching highlights on 3 different macbooks, they all have the same problem. Two are X3100 Santa Rosa (2.2ghz, 2GB ram) one is a GMA950 1.8ghz.

I reckon i'm just more anally retentive about these inconsequential things than most people ๐Ÿ™‚

Solution is to untick this box, and restart browser.

[IMG] [/IMG]

CPU usage still high, but no longer erratic framerate.

It's really not even slightly jerky in full screen for me, no different to in the browser window, but if you don't want to believe me... ๐Ÿ˜›

I'm using Safari 4 if it makes a difference.

Flash is rubbish on OS X. Adobe are supposed to be writing an iPhone version, but IMO they need to sort it out for Mac first!!
