A little stuck here with this I wonder if anyone wants to offer a solution.

An ex employee has left his old car in our yard and we now moving premises is there a legal way of removing it or disposing of it ?

He used to work for us and lost his keys while out driving one day, didn't have a spare set and didn't fancy the large charge by the local dealers to get a new set cut so parked it up and bought a newer car. Some 4 weeks later was removed from his roll in the company and left under a very very dark cloud, never looked back never returned calls regarding the car.

Police dont seem interested so where to go from here as its still legally his car so disposing of it seems iffy to say the least and really dont have the the time to chase him now as im lead to believe he has now moved away from the area.

Advise welcome

I'll advise you that you should be asking for advice in the chat forum!

What is the car? Of any value? If not, donate to the local fire brigade for practice.

Leave it where it is and say it's nothing to do with the company. Is it taxed still?

Move the car out onto the street then it's someone else's problem.

"Points to note:

Under no circumstances would we advocate you merely pushing the vehicle onto a road and leaving it there, as you may commit a number of offences.
Don't damage/clamp the vehicle or have it removed by a third party for destruction or storage without first seeking legal advice. If you do any of these things, you may commit a criminal offence or the owner may pursue a civil action against you."

Not that then

Not yours, I'm sure your landlord will be happy to charge a ridiculous level of storage before setting debt collection up.
