.......... if you buy a second hand frame, do you get the warranty, or is it original purchaser only?

Frame warranties are very rarely transferable.

Most places state original owner only. yo;d have to check the warranty on the frame. If you;re lucky the original owner may help you claim in the even of one being necessary

Turners are transferable - not sure what others are

I think Turner offers a 'trade-in' deal where you get X-amount off of a new frame regardless of whether you're the first or 100th owner. Obviously if the frame fails inside of a year they'll replace it at no cost.

Traded in an early Burner DH (96ish) replaced with RFX in 2005.

pretty sure that if a turner is within 3 years old they will replace it regardless of how many owners its had, a mate bought a dh one used and has made about 5 warranty claims in the last few years
