Rather than a repaint considering using one of those vinyl wrap options. Has anyone tried this route before?, how does it fair on the trials? any downside?, likely cost?

I applied it to a fatbike frame. Looked OK from a distance but it's easiest on long straight tubes and very fiddly on tight bends. It lasted 3 years of use before some of it was getting tatty and so I removed it.

Applying with heat and thinking about stretch will mostly see you OK. Remember that you can stretch it over convex surfaces and the outside of curves but can't shrink it to concave surfaces or inside bends.

Mine was a disruptive cammo pattern so quite good for hiding joins.

Spray Wrap? Not sure about it’s toughness though.

Has anyone done a frame using hydro dipping?

Who doesn't want their bike covered in flames? 🤔
