I live in Dundee and wondered if anybody knows anywhere local that sprays bike frames? Is it better to send it away to a reputable company? if so, what, roughly, are the costs and other things worth considering?

Cheers 🙂

What is the frame ? steal or alloy etc
If getting a frame blast cleaned (grit, bead, sand) and sprayed by a non-bike specialist (anyone in the yellow pages that just does anything and everything) then make sure that the BB threads are protected(leave old scrap cups in during cleaning and painting to prevent damage and over spray)saves having to clean the threads up afterwards. Also have a good look at the frame for cracks etc before painting, they are not so easy to find after painting.

Bob Jackson cycles.....brilliant!! They're in Leeds but will collect and deliver back to you. Will also put decals back on (if you have a set) and lacquer over them.

Miles away from you, but I got a shotblast/powdercoat done locally to me..only cost £25. Finish is excellent.
