Frame protection on a carbon frame?

[#13028621]

So I'm just about to get my first ever actual new bike, and would like to take as much care of it as possible, (probably won't last, but the thoughts there). So I was wondering about putting on something like invisframe, but as its a carbon frame, is it actually painted or is the colour in the carbon itself, so won't necessarily chip?

When it comes to bikes there have been many many gimmicks over the decades. Invisiframe is one that was long needed.

Invisiframe. Ideally put on before your first ride.

Take a look @ Wrapdirect.

https://www.wrapdirect.com/bicycle-paint-protection-film-clear-shield/

Recently wrapped a new frame and no complaints on the quality and a fraction of the price v's others.

Go for Invisframe. It’s really well made and so easy to fit that only an idiot could do it badly.

Why don't they just make bikes out of invisiframe...?

😜

I'm clearly an idiot (shut up at the back...)

Tried doing my alloy Kenevo, got about two pieces in and screwed it up into a ball. Bought a new kit and sent it to 18 bikes.

Ironically, I've just put a post up about protecting my Ragley (if it's worth it), but not sure I want to go through the pain and misery again

I can't lie, I suspect I'm certainly going to fall into the "idiot" bracket. Even the video of the professional doing made it look bloody awkward!

3M helicopter tape on chainstays and down tube at bottom bracket.

Then go ride:
