I read a book that had a section on building pannier racks in the back.
I'm pretty sure it wasn't paterek
Any ideas?

Paterek definitely does have a section on building racks, it was probably that. I don't like the cut of his jib though, so, you know, meh.

Ah cool i'll take another look. Its the free one he gives so its a pain to find anything on it.
I do find it a slightly odd read i agree.

I'd forget the book and just get inspiration from Tubus and Tout Terrain.
Ceeway has Columbus Gara in 8, 10 and 12.7mm for racks. Not sure about stainless.
