I'm servicing some old 2004-2005 talas forx, done pretty much the lot but have come to putting the rebound damper back in and the online manual
http://service.foxracingshox.com/consumers/index.htm
says to put the oil in refering to the oil volume chart
http://service.foxracingshox.com/consumers/Content/Service/oil_volumes.htm
but it doesn't quote an oil volume or weight for the damper!
Any ideas? do I just guess?
no 35 is talas of your vintage
Yeah it does. Look at the pretty colours then refer to the key at the top of the page

I'm going mad. Please ignore this post.
yep i've found the relative part of the table but it refers to the oil baths, the air chambers but not to the actual damper
except where it says
FOX Green 10 wt. Damper-side oil bath 160.0
there is no oil in the damper the damper gets put into the oil bath
ahhhh so it flows freely between uppers and lowers on that side. thanks. They still don't feel good though, suppose it's due to the age...
