Out today and noticed funny noise from my fox talas forks. Had a close look and realised I'd lost the stud nut and washer.
Questions: Have I damaged the forks by riding on them?
What exactly does the stud nut do?
Is it simply a case of fitting a new nut and washer?
BTW the forks are 2005 Talas RLC so thinking spares might be hard to find any recomendations for where I might get them?

Might be just nut and crush washer if the shaft has been pushed inside the lowered fork leg, if not could be new internal shaft?
Loco will tell you better.
