I have used LOCO a few times and been happy with the service and price but i find it's not easy to contact/ get a reply from them. I emailed j-tech last night and had a reply first thing this morning and now my rear shock is heading that way. A few mates have had forks done and been happy so i'm confident that i will be and the price is good too compared to mojo.

Im very happy with Loco, can be a day or so for him to reply, but he is pretty busy.
Simon's a good 'un and i've yet to hear a bad word about him or his work.

I wouldn't send mine anywhere other than TF Tuned.

Nothing against simons work but i filled out a service form nearly 2 weeks ago and still haven't heard back from him. I understand he is busy and as i said before, i have no issues with his work or prices

Sorry for the hijack...

Ay up LoCo

Did you get my enquiry about my Reba's with the dodgy rebound that need a service, sent via your contact us page about a week ago?

I've had no reply from you yet

Cheers

Andy Baxter

Hey Andy Im surprised you haven't had a go yourself ? Once you get all the tools/oils and watch/read a few service videos/articles it is pretty easy.

I serviced my old Pikes and changed the spring, done a few seal/lube services on my RP23 And same on my Van RC2 FIT.

However I am sending my Rear Shock off to Loco to be re-shimmed for a M tune and damper service.

People who have mailed Loco and not had a reply can always ring him, I guess he is busy and in all honesty I had a few questions to ask him and think it was easier and quicker actually talking to him.

Know Simon from Loco pretty well, and spent a fair bit of time at his workshop, during which he's constantly back and forth to the computer to answer e-mails between jobs.I can only suggest that if he hasn't answered one, he hasn't received it for some reason.

Simon emailed me last night. Thanks for the help Simon, I'll be in touch again soon.

I would ring, but it's easier to email for me as the phones at work are always busy so I get hardly any time at all during the day to make calls, especially personal calls.

As for servicing them myself, it's having the time to do it. I have several bikes that need general maintenance from last year, only just cleaned one up and made it good to go!

I've not used him for servicing yet but I have bought parts off him. Very good service and top notch technical advice. In the catergory of "will definitely use again".
