Finally got round to servicing my rear shock, however...
All the online videos tell me to remove a seal from around the white part in the picture, there was no seal in there. Question is, should there be a seal? There is one in the seal kit that would fit perfectly in there.

There is an o-ring on the shaft, that holds a metal washer snug against the spacer and one on the shock eyelet piece, underneath the spacer.

The spacer itself doesn't need a seal, it just takes up air volume.

Have got the metal washer and o-ring, just moved them out the way for the picture. Thanks for the link!!
