[#2284757]

Just noticed when i hold the seatpost of my bike and pull up and down there's 2-3mm play on the shock, its not the bushings its actually the shock itself that has 'play'. It sits/sags the 2-3mm its only when i pull up. Anybody else have this?????

The shock/frame is only 2 months old.........

Only ever had bushings cause that sort of issue. Good news is it sounds like a warranty job after only 2 months!

right, having let a bit of air out of the shock and 'fiddled' with it, it Looks like it is the shock bushing's. Is this the norm that these things only last a couple of months???? I've riden it less than a dozen times, this can't be right.........

Bushings are designed to wear instead of the shock/shock mounting. I must admit mine do need replacing a couple of times a year but that is riding in the infamously abrasive Woburn Sand so your wear from new seems excessive. Wonder if the bolt holding this to the frame was/is tight enough? I would definitely take this back to where you made the purchase.
