Hi all,
I have a new bike coming (hooray) with Rockshox Recon SL forks, about which I know very little except they seemed plush enough and tough enough in the shop.
I have a pair of Fox Talas RL forks from 2004 on my old bike - good condition.
Family commitments have limited my mountain biking for four years so I'm rather out of the loop. Can a top quality fork from 7 years ago still cut it against an average modern fork?
Would you keep the Rockshox, or swap the Fox forks on to the new bike??
All advice welcomed!
