My 07 talas RL have been fine up until tonight when I noticed the apparantly common 'clunking' when going over small sharp bumps. I found this which seems to address the problem, but it's from 2003. Has anyone done a similar fix for later forks? I am really apprehensive about stripping my forks apart to find it's not fixable (by me). But equally I don't want to pay £100 for a service when they've been fine up till now, and only cost me £200 in 2008. I'm generally ok with mechanical things, but it'd be good to see some instructions before getting started!
Cheers
Gareth
