[#1276653]

Is it worth the extra cash to get the Fox Float RL on my Kona A PUSHED?

I use the lockout quite a bit, will I miss it?

You'd be better replacing it with an RP23. I did on mine and it transformed te ride.

I never liked it locked out, always had her fully open. TBH I wouldn't bother.

what size shock is it? I've just received a Float RP2 direct from HK (ebay) for 87 quid delivered , they only have 200x50 I think

FAIW I always preferred her with a Vanilla rather than a Float.

Aye, as daffy says, 165x38...

Looking at the RP23 led me to the RS Monarch 4.2... ๐Ÿ˜•

Thanks for the input people. Daffy and Hairychested, can you tell me what it was about the RP23/Vanilla shocks you liked on your A's?

I always thought it rode more smoothly at the back with a coil shock. It was smoother, comfier and more as I wanted it to feel than with a Float. Mind you, I never had her in a difficult terrain, only London, Surrey and Polish mountains near Szklarska Poreba where Polish MTB Cup took place.
