Does anyone know if the Fox DPX2 has a spacer/removable piece that will allow it to travel a little more?
Im after a 200x51 shock but ive seen one at a good price but its 190x51 so wondering if there is something restricting the travel that i can remove. I know in the past some shocks have been the same travel but are restricted with spacers or o-rings installed at factory.

the 200/190 doesn't refer to the travel/stroke, thats the i2i length of the shock. a 190 would make your bike a little slacker, but you'd risk hitting the seat tube with the rear wheel under bigger hits
Thanks tomhoward, so with the i2i can this be extended? If there was something restricting the amount of travel. If that was removed and the stroke was slightly longer the i2i would also be longer right? Or is this not possible?
On the OEM shocks (not sure about aftermarket) the stroke can be adjusted by swapping spacers (but its a fox distributor job) but the i2i cant
