Seem pretty expensive for what they are. I think I'd only need to try the smaller 2. Does anyone have those left over or might want to go halves on a kit?

Anyone found a cheap alternative? I suppose sticking anything non compressible in the can would work.

Depending on what rob offers you, I'll have the smaller ones going spare soon, happy to get them to you as I'm after the big one.

Interesting experience tonight with my CTD shock, I thought I'd do a mock run of taking air can off and removing current spacer. Negative air spring caused some head scratching and serious googling ๐Ÿ™‚

Cheers guys. I've been looking on the fix site. The four character code on my shock suggests that the 0.60 cubic inch spacer is already in there so maybe I need one if the bigger ones.

Have either of you looked at the table on the fox site? I know my shock length/strock and that I have the LV eyelet type. What I can't fathom is what the numbers in the table mean.

If anyone has any of the larger DPS ones (black) I'd be interested.

The white older CTD ones done fit AFAIK.

Is that another thing to watch out for? Does the colour make a difference? I thought the ctd and dos were the same with a 9mm shaft.

Yes, only the black spacers fit the DPS shocks (according to Mojo).

Also make sure it's. It a Float X spacer as they don't fit either apparently.

This is getting trickier by the minute. I assume the ones we need are the ones that seem to be out of stock everywhere.

Basically, yes - my typing on the phone last night was terrible - that's meant to say the Float X spacer does not fit.

Mojo should have just had a delivery in recently I believe, so you should be able to order them now at least.

This might help, where I ordered mine from

https://www.bike-components.de/en/Fox-Racing-Shox/Float-CTD-Float-DPS-Tuning-Kit-fuer-Daempfer-ab-Modell-2013-p36599/

The part number (ending 802) seems the match the specs on the fox website. I think/hope... ๐Ÿ˜€

EDIT: I'll add a bit of my experience on the negative air spring issue I had, just in case it cuases issues for anyone else.
- bike on stand, released all pressure in shock
- shock then sucked in about half its travel, remembered some warning about that on the fox video above
- tied a rag round the end of the shock to prevent air can hurtling across room, and then extremely nervously unscrewed air can 1/4 turn at a time like a big fearty-jessie
- can did indeed whip itself to end of the shaft on final turn
- inspected spacer and took it off/put it back in again just to see if as easy as video (it was)
- try to screw can back on, but due to negative spring I just could not push the can back up the shaft even slightly close to threads. bugger.
- advice I googled said to re-pressurise shock to low pressure, then cycle it to equalize air, but this dificult when I can't even get teh can back on. ****!
- put bike on groung, pushed down on saddle to bottom out shock, was then able to re-thread can, and then pumped to about 100psi
- cycled shocked, esp holding down rear wheel and pulling up on saddle, there was an audible 'fizz' as air equalised
- now was simple to take can on and off

long story short - before removing can, take air pressure down to about 100psi and fully cycle shock to get air out of negative spring, before fully deflating and unscrewing can etc.
