Sorry to ask a tyre question. I know the best ones are round ones etc etc.
Doing fox antifreeze on Sunday and I've currently got ardents on my yeti. Would these suit the course ? Never ridden it before so is it likely to be a slop fest or rocks?
29 tubless flavour and currently got a 2.4 rear and 2.25 front.
I know im overthinking this but it's taking my mind off Corona virus panic and fighting over loo roll
It's fairly firm because it uses sections of the coed-y-brennin trails, unless they've changed the format in the last couple of years.
Have to say, not an event I enjoyed though. Repeat laps of a boring course compared with what's on offer there. I realised after I finished I should have just sacked it off after one lap and gone and ridden one of the actual trails.
No real mud, a few puddles.
First lap was ok, second lap was fun, third lap was lets get it over with and go home.
They'll be fine, crack on.
