Does any one know if a 2011 spring will work in a 2010 fork?

The ID of the springs were made slightly larger in 2011, which meant you couldn't use old springs in newer forks as the spring wouldn't slide over the internal stub-shaft-thingee. However, you shouldn't have any problem using a 2011 spring in an older fork.

ah, cool might be worth a try then 😀
p.s. what do you mean by ID of the spring? if its the internal diameter wouldnt that mean the spring is larger than the old springs?

ah re read and understand what you mean, the ID (hole in the middle) is bigger on the new springs, so should fit the old models
