Hi chaps,

My 36 forks are as they were fresh out of the box, I'm tempted to shove some tokens in, but keen to know how everyone else is running theirs, as I know what I like from a Pike, but ive never had a 36 before.

Whats everyone running, tokens and compression wise?

I'm on about 85psi, 1 blue token, 12 clocks of HSC and 12 clicks of LSC

Cheers

Ricks

Take out all the HSC and use tokens to prevent bottom out instead. I'd expect they feel very harsh with 12 click of HSC!

HSC all the way off, and a load of terrifying mods that Chainline suggested including pushing them out to 180 and cutting lumps out of the inside of my brand new fork and putting in too much oil. Works beautifully, delighted with them.

Mine are exactly as the instruction manual recommends but with a little less pressure. They feel amazing. As close to a dh bike as I have ever found.

Andy - how many tokens are you running? Just as they came out of the box?

Whatever it came with out of the box. I'm not sure what's in there. They did come with a bag with some in when I bought them.

No tokens or hsc, 4 clicks of lsc, mid rebound. Brilliant fork. Much better than the pike on the other bike.

So - I've ended up with Mojo doing the same to mine. Up the travel to 180 but fettle the air spring to give 165mm travel and balance the negative spring to make it super sensitive. That way, it properly sits in the travel and forces the front wheel to follow the ground while also ensuring that the front and rear are balanced

Thats the theory - think I'm on very low HSC and PSI of 80-85 depending on the pump I use and where I check it. LSC is quite low too.

Edit: I did run em as Andy had said initially but couldn't get just the right balance between lsc and sag. Felt wooden at speed and quite harsh on rough stuff. Was starting to fettle rebound to get rid of that but mojo sorted em
