Last night - lying beside the picnic table at the top of the Spooky Wood descent.
They're quite small (compared to mine anyway) which makes me think they're ladies glasses but that could be wrong.
Will try to post a pic tonight if this means anything to anyone.
Sorry - should've said - they are prescription glasses - not sunnies so somone might be missing them badly! How the owner made it down from there without their glasses on is a mystery! 😀
my ex lost a pair of glasses near GT red a few years ago. we looked for them for ages but couldn't find them. can you describe the frames?
They're oval shaped with a red/black plastic frame. Lying on the ground about a foot from the picnic table (which is usually heaving with punters) so can't imagine they've been lying there for more than a day or two never mind years otherwise they would've been found/stood on by now but you never know.

thanks, doesn't sound like that'll be them (I don't remember any red on the frames anyway). Knew it was a long shot. The reason we had such difficulty find them was she was out walking with my daughter rather than biking so they weren't walking to an exact path. just thought someone might have found them years later and left them on the picnic table for passers by to retrieve as people often do with randomly found items.
