Define freeride, Ton.

Giant Faith are pretty much bombproof in their new format.

You won't break it! Ride DH on it, jump on it, ride XC on it and tomorrow I'm taking it up a 1000m's climb to ride back down on it! It's fun.

buy something that won't depreciate quickly

Surely what you need is one of these, WTB have even made some specially fat tyres for it. (Available to all of us soon though hopefully)

Kona Stinky.

Great bike to ride. Shop around for a good deal on a smoking spec and the world will seem a better place.

Yep there's a guy machining the brace out on the 36's so you can get a big boys wheel in there.

Go on mate test it out for the rest of us. ๐Ÿ˜‰

simon
freeriding as in a very strongly built bike suitable for riding off things i.e kerbs and steps on the way to work.

and my 29r wheels are as strong as any fr/dh wheels.
kris holm 47mm rim on hope pro2 built with sapim strong spokes throughout (the ones that are double thickness at the hub end).

mmmmm, ok. Would like to see a really good rider on a 29er, not that i'm doubting 29er wheels, just curious as it seems new ground for 29er wheels?

Ton - The Foes 29er will be available in 3-4 weeks.

The first batch of 29er frames have just gone out for heat treating.
