Oh yes, two weeks of Scottish riding, kicking off with a weekend of watching how it should be done. Can't wait either! 😛

It's my 4th time, and I love it. Such a good atmosphere.
Missed it last year, and was properly miffed. 😛

Yep!

Riding the WHW from Bridge of Orchy to Kinlochleven on the monday, dicking about in kinlochleven on the tuesday before heading into glen nevis, hopefully riding the new red route on wednesday, more dicking around on thursday (maybe that descent coming down from the North Face of Nevis) and then three days of watching the pros!

All on my new Marin Rocky Ridge, bought specifically (and very cheap) for this week. 8)

Are there any good campsites near the venue?

We always use Nevis caravan park, but yeah there are loads.
Think there is a linky on the website for it.
Nice new cycle path from the town centre to the foot of the hill.
Saves the bus queues on the way back home at night.

I personally will never forget the NOISE in the finish area when Peaty won it my first year in attendance.

Closely followed by young Mr Cunningham winning the Juniors in the World Champs.

My best memory was riding the Loch Morar trail on the friday, then booting it back to the car park in order to grab a beer, a pint and a seat in the grandstand for the World Champs 4X finals that same night, still dripping mud from our ride. Brilliant.

Quick question.

Are there bars in the event area?
