Hey there, just got some new Hope wheels but they've come with 183 rotors. I have Formula R1 brakes running 180's is there an adapter I can get to keep the 183's or do I need to get new rotors?

Thanks

edit: I'm using Hope rotors with my RO's without issue.

2nd edit: I'm also using the Hope adaptors. Which one you need will depend on the mounts on your frame/fork

1.5mm radial difference should be fine, if not add a washer or two. That will be easier and cheaper than buying new mounts.

You can get runout differences of a mm or so even between different brands of supposedly teh same size, or different frames and forks... I'd just fit it and eyeball it, and if it looks ok ride it. Then later check for uneven wear or ridges on the pad and maybe do more if need be

Thanks, you have inadvertantly solved a problem that I wasn't really thinking was a problem to solve, more of a nice to do..

Just tried them on, front rubs a bit but rear seems ok. Pretty close though. Think I'm going to get an adapter for front and see how the back goes.
