[#3670051]

Bought a set of K18's as i love the K24's on the new Bionicon, however their reach isn't quite enough for me to be 100% happy.

Now, i know from a bit of reading they're not adjustable on the fly like the K24's but wondered if there was a way of doing it when bleeding/setting up etc ? My obvious answer is no.... but i may well be missing something.

there's a wee allen key bolt/screw just behind the lever itself which allows you to adjust the reach...

The threaded horizontal screw is the reach adjust (K18 & K24).

That plastic bit sticking straight up is the bite point adjuster (not on K18's but can be retro fitted easily enough).

There's 2 different layouts for K24s, later ones got rid of that pushrod setup as it's a bit of a weakspot, and replaced it with the lever off (IIRC) the Mega. So if yours doesn't look quite like that, look for the wee hole in the front of the lever instead. I can't recall exactly how it's done but it's pretty intuitive, I think there might be a clamp bolt to be loosened as well as the adjuster.

If you look at the back of the lever, the rod that links the lever to the piston has a threaded portion and a 2mm A/F allen key head. Turn the rod to adjust reach ๐Ÿ™‚

This is true. I adjusted them weeksy. It's a bit awkward, really need a long t bar Allen key.
