Marzocchi 2005 Z1 FR on mine. 150mm of lovely plush coil travel seems to suit it just fine for me.

Can't beat a good coil fork - never really got on with air forks.

Just taken a very worn pair of Wotans off mine, replaced by some Lyrik coils and tbh I prefer the Wotans at the mo. Such a shame they've discontinued them

Had coil Pikes packed down on rocky downhills, Changed to Marzocchi 55s, they were a great fork but a bit tall, Now changed to Revelations and they seem great. Would like to swap the damper in the Pikes and see what they are like though. Was going to see if Loco could get me one.

As above, ran various forks on mine and Wotans suited it the best

Cheers again, I'd Wotans on the list, seemed to fit the bill and the adjustability was tempting. Also had Revs, budget wise these were favourite but now I've started looking at coil Sektors.

So it was Rev's or Sektors new or Bomber/Lyrik/Pike/Wotan second hand.

It crossed my mind though how good a fork do you need on a hardtail?

Do you think one would be completly underforked with 130mm revs?

I ran air pikes for a while which were ok but i couldn't get them set up with a pressure that coped with the big stuff but remained supple on little bumps. Now running Coil Sektors, perfect.

Frame arrived 😀 at the moment Coil Sektors seem favourite, doesn't seem to be a bad word said about them for the price and should be more than enough fork for my capabilities.
