what?

My fork is almost dead. It's lived a good life but is now bottoming out on the drops I'm doing.

I'm thinking of upgrading to something with 120mm but looking for advice.

It's a 19" Rockhopper btw

What's yr budget?

A secondhand Revelation U-turn 100mm-130mm would be my choice if you're wanting to keep costs down and stay with your QR wheel.

Or a 115mm or 120mm Reba.

I've just replaced Toras on my xtc with some second hand Rebas. The difference is incredible. Aside from them being considerably lighter, they allow me ride over rocks and roots with greater speed and confidence - and of course less discomfort than clattering about with the Toras. Riding with them for the first time on local trails a few days was such a revelation it made me extend the ride to take in some more rooty descents and I'm now very eager to get out again later this afternoon.

quite right you cheeky scamp. And they are now a lot plusher. But i've decided I want some new ones.
Also the damper control was shagged.

Pook, i got some second hand Reba Race 100mm travel and sent them for a full service, i have had to buy a new motion control damper as the one inside broke and was weeping oil all within three weeks of buying them.

Not the person who sold them me's fault im just very unlucky i guess.
