Afternoon, doing a spring change on my MRP Ribbon later this week, what grease would you recommend for coating the spring? I only have the red Weldtite stuff (Teflon) which probably isn't thick enough.
Do I want lithium or synthetic or something else?

I just use whatever suspension grease I have at the time. That way I know it’ll definitely play nicely with the oil

For the Smashpot conversion they recommended Slick honey grease, think I used Sram butter as had a pot.
