[Closed] Fork recommendation for old (2001) Trek 6700

First post, so be gentle...

I'm trying to advise a mate of mine who needs to replace a knackered Rockshox fork (Judy - 90mm travel?) on his 10 year old Trek 6700. He needs to do it on a relatively shoestring budget (out of work and skint), but wants a half decent fork. I've seen a 2010 RS Tora SL (£139) and a 2011 RS Recon Silver TK (£125). Both are coil spring with 100mm travel. Are these suitable forks for this age of frame and would there be any compatibility problems to consider (e.g. calliper mountings for the old small diameter discs)? Any help or other recommendations much appreciated...
