I have 2.5W oil and 10W oil - how do I mix it to get 7.5W oil?
is it as simple as 2 parts 10W to 1 part 2.5W?

it isn't that linear so you may have to 'suck it & see' a bit

Not only is it not linear but one manufactures idea of 7.5 is not the same as someone elses. Have a google for a wiki site by PVD. There's a great table in there somewhere that shows a comparison between almost everyones different oils.
