[Closed] Fork oil leaking at stanchion

Bike has been getting proper battered in the past few weeks and it seems to be taking its toll on the fork, a 2003 Boxxer World Cup. Noticed some leakage around the bottom of the right stanchion, it was enough to drip down the leg. Doesn't seem to be any play in the fork and it still works and feels the same as normal at the minute.

Is it something major to worry about (ie will things start to go wrong in the next month if I leave it) and is it likely to be a cheap or expensive fix? I can't do it myself as I don't have any proper tools with me so I'd be taking it to a shop, all of which seem really expensive around here.
