This bike bought second hand off the classifieds, forks are very very dry. Anyone know if they can be serviced/oil change etc? Any insructions e.g. what and how much oil? tempted just to sling 20ml of fork oil in each leg, as they are coil, shouldn't be a problem should it??

I tried to dismantle an SR Suntour fork on my GF's GT when they seized - I could not work out how to get into them.

Chucked 'em and offered her a RS J4 from one of my bikes (so I could upgrade mine) but it was "the wrong colour". She wanted an "identical" fork so I bought her another SR Suntour piece of crud and stuck that on - she's happy.

Sorry I can't help other than to start chucking GT85 into the seal/stanchion interface and pumping it.
