Ok,
My new to me (2007) santa cruz blur LT is awesome. the forks that came with it are fox 36's and from what I can see they are a 2005 model... there 150mm. They feel pretty good, nice and stiff... but have all the same issues that annoyed me about my old talas 32's... full travel is never used, and there a bit sticky.
I have some lovely coil converted 2012 150mm 20mm axle revelation ti's, but the steerer is too short even for my low stack stem on the large frame.
AS far as I can see it, I have 3 options.
- sell both and get something else.... (if so what)
- service the 36's and mod them/send them to be pushed (can they be converted to floats?)
- track down a reasonably priced set of sektor/revelation uppers so I can use my revs.. (any leads? coming up short)
